Albanian municipalities against domestic violence

Almost all municipalities in Albania have a dedicated mechanism to protect and support survivors of domestic violence and gender-based violence. Strengthening and building their capacities is one of the goals of the UN Joint programme that UN Women is implementing together with UNDP and UNFPA, with funds from the Swedish government to eliminate violence against women and girls (EVAW). This video is part of a series with service providers who are supporting survivors of gender-based violence and domestic violence in Albania and has been developed by UN Women as part of the EVAW UN Joint programme.
