Woman Forum Elbasan supports survivors of violence

One of UN Women partners, Woman Forum Elbasan, has been working for 20 years to prevent and address cases of domestic violence. They have given back the freedom, dignity and life to abused women and girls in the region of Elbasan, central Albania. Soela Kurti, a lawyer from Woman Forum Elbasan, informs us how they support survivors of violence and the challenges they face in their daily work. This is a series of four videos featuring service providers for survivors of gender-based violence and domestic violence in Albania. The videos were developed by UN Women as part of the UN Joint programme on eliminating violence against women and girls, supported by the Government of Sweden.
