Gender Datathon in Albania

From 2–4 October 2024, Albania hosted its first-ever Gender Datathon, uniting researchers, students, activists, data analysts and members of women’s rights and civil society organizations to foster data literacy and drive evidence-based solutions to advance gender equality. The Gender Datathon was organized in cooperation with the National Institute of Statistics in Albania and the UN Women “Making Every Woman and Girl Count” regional programme, through the support of the Government of Sweden.
