UN Women Albania Strategic Note 2022-2026

This publication describes UN Women Albania’s programme of work for the period 2022-2026. It highlights key areas of contribution of the Country Office across UN Women’s triple mandate of UN Coordination, normative support and operational activities. It is closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework of Albania, UN Women’s corporate vision for the period 2022-2025, as well as key national priorities including EU accession.

The Strategic Note offers an overview of the continued and upcoming initiatives that UN Women Albania in cooperation with partners aims to deliver. It draws on the key findings and lessons learned of the recently conducted Country Portfolio Evaluation and it was developed through a consultative process with a variety of partners including civil society and national counterparts, who were engaged in the development of the UNSDCF 2022-2026 and in the process of conducting the Evaluation.
